got there to find between 5-8kts but having seen the forecast of 17kts and chatting to a couple of people mountain boarding who said it had been off an on i decided to set up anyway.

by the time i'd got the kite set up and wetsuit on it was blowing a steady 16kts and i had a really good session riding in waves properly for the first time. even landed a couple of unplanned jumps when i messed up controlling the kite over the small waves! can't change direction without stopping yet though so thats something to work on.
